Job description
As a Solution Consultant, you support the implementation of RELEX solutions by identifying, addressing and validating business requirements in areas such as forecasting, replenishment, allocations, inventory planning or markdown optimization.
Their main tasks include:
• Support for solution demos in one (or more) of the above areas
• Support business consultants in compiling and documenting business requirements
• Analysis, design, configuration and implementation of changes to existing solutions according to business requirements
• Conducting tests and data analysis
• Support the training of super users by creating documentation and training environments
• Support end users during the user acceptance testing and stabilization phases
• Participation in implementation projects using predetermined methods and specifications, in individual work and in teamwork
• Expand your knowledge of retail and supply chain
Requirements
• University degree in information systems, information technology, systems engineering or a similar field
• Experience (1-3 years) in retail and/or supply chain optimization solutions, in a role such as system analyst, planner, quality assurance, functional consultant or tester
• Basic knowledge of databases, shell scripting, Java or other programming languages
• Analytical skills to interpret and understand business processes based on written requirements and technical specification documents
• Adaptability, flexibility and resilience to perform well even under pressure
• Ability to work well in a team with different seniority levels
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Problem-solving skills and critical thinking
• Willingness to travel
• Good English (written and spoken)
